Maryse Awad

Operations Manager – One Stop Housing Property Management Division

Maryse Awad joined One Stop Housing in 2002, over twenty years ago. She started as the Property Manager for a few properties and quickly rose through the organization to General Manager. As General Manager, Maryse oversees all operations and manages the properties through the Regional Property Managers.

Maryse was born in France, and attended the College of Literature in Clermont Ferrand, France. After graduating, she started her career working in the hospitality restaurant business for 23 years. During this time, she owned and operated 4 restaurants located in New Jersey and Sarasota. In 2000, Maryse was hired by VWA as the Customer Service Department Manager. After two years with VWA, Maryse was promoted to manage the development team for the creation of the Smart Card. It was a time when HIPAA was being implemented through all medical providers throughout the US. Maryse later joined Harvey Vengroff in 2002 to start One Stop Housing as the Property Manager for the portfolio of properties under management.

Today, Maryse is widely recognized as an expert in Workforce Housing. She has spoken at several area conferences on Workforce Housing, including Womens Resource Center, Salvation Army, and local Property Management Associations.
